SPSS for Window
Descriptiva Statistic > Crosstabs…

The test for independence
The test for independence
A test that both the nature of the information is relevant or not the command.
The program SPSS for Window menu is used to analyze the Descriptive Statistics> Crosstabs which test to use. According to the type of data Both quantitative and qualitative.
Stages of data analysis using SPSS for Window.
1. Prepare the input to the program SPSS for Window variable to determine the relationship of at least two variables.
2. The data were analyzed using SPSS for Window menu commands in the program, which has the following sub-steps.
2.1 Select the menu command Descriptiva Statistic> Crosstabs ...
Variable 2.2
Channel Row (S): variable.
Channel Column (S): variable.
2.3 Statistics .. Select the appropriate statistical tests on the type or level of information.
2.4 Click on the ok button
The process of hypothesis testing
1. The assumptions used in the test.
H_0: two sets of data are independent of each other, or both, there is no relationship.
H_1: two data sets are not independent of each other, or the two are related.
2. The level of significance (α).
3. The statistics used in the test. (Depending on the level of information).
4. Compare the statistics and Sig., With a significant level.
